Family Services UK was formed in 2005 by a group of therapists to offer counselling services in South East London. We were then registered as a charity with Company Limited by Guarantee status under the name AbleOne.

In August 2009 the charity changed its name to Family Psychological Services Ltd, and has permission from the Charity Commission to trade as Family Services UK. The name change complements the charity expanding and planning to provide services outside the borough of Lewisham.

Our original group of therapists offered counselling and therapy. As our charity grew, so have the services we provide. Please see the page counselling services to read about what we now offer.
