The programmes are delivered in two levels, Induction and Intensive.

Induction level

This programme is a 6 week course, delivered once a week in sessions of 3 and a half hours.

It aims to give you practical strategies for day to day parenting situations. The work will focus on positive parenting and will try to increase your awareness of how you interact with your child.

This is for all parents and carers interested to understand and promote their child’s physical and mental health development, including parents with specific concerns about their child, parents of children with special needs, and non-English speaking parents. This programme will help parents to learn about their child’s behaviour and develop active listening skills. This programme will explore with parents/carers their patterns of reactions which could be problematic to children’s discipline. The programme will help parents to learn that parents can be a part of children’s negative behaviour and attitude and learn how reacting with anger could make children’s behaviour worse.
